Dogman is a dog that is a police officer and superhero who has to save the townspeople from Petey, the World’s Most Evil Cat, who uses these weird weapons to shrink people and puts them in Cat Jail. Petey also keeps escaping from jail.
I really like this book, it’s so funny! When I read the book, I laughed at every page. I also liked this book because you can learn how to draw the characters in the book. The book also has flip-o-rama for you to try, which makes the pictures look like they are moving.
I really liked Dogman’s origin story. Before he became a superhero, Dogman was two people – a human and a dog. They were trying to stop a bomb from exploding and accidentally cut the wrong wire. They had to combine the dog and human, which is where Dogman came from. It was like he was being reborn.
My favorite part of the book is when Dogman turned big with magic spray paint! The villains created a monster that Dogman had to fight, and during the fight, the monster kicked Dogman into the spray paint store, and that’s how he was made large. Then Catkid and 80/HD came to help Dogman beat the monster.
I loved the book! I would give it 5 stars!
